M54 Intake Manifold Wiring Harness Sketch E46 Fanatics Forum Couldn't find a properly labeled engine wiring harness, so tried to make one myself. the realoem diagram isn't very accurate, but you can make out what is going on. this is based off my experience with a couple of post 2000 euro e46 m54 wiring harnesses. also added the two similar diagrams e46fanatics . For cars with ms43, that opening is for the intake air temperature sensor. in your case, your car is ms45.1 with the intake air temperature sensor integrated into the mass air flow sensor (maf). as a result, the ms43 maf has 3 wires whereas for your car, the ms45.1 maf has 5 wires. all e46 has 2 fuel "pumps".

Intake manifold is back on, oil & vacuum lines rebuilt etc. my hose from the ccv to the dipstick was actually broken off completely. as a software geek, i like having info. one thing i cannot seem to find anywhere is a drawing or a diagram of the large square wiring harness that sits over and in front of the throttle body. Sound of speed: 60% of the power differences between a 2.8 and 3.0 dual vanos motor is the intake manifold. the swap is simple, but you do have to get an adapter made for the throttle body. weird, only difference between an m52b25tu and a m54b25 is the intake and it is a few hp more then the m52 but less tq. Illustrated diagram showing the engine wiring harness configuration on bmws with the m54 6 cylinder petrol gasoline engine family, showing connections to the vanos, gcv, disa valve, etc. “tip: ensure your ccv system is properly connected to the underside of the intake manifold (and it is not damaged) before connecting all of these harnesses.
