2007 Ford F150 Transmission Cooling Line Diagram This allows most of the cooler circuit flow to bypass the coolers. the pcm reads the temperature from the transmission fluid temperature sensor on the solenoid body inside the transmission pan. normal temperatures not towing are 60 100°f above ambient temperature. 170°f is ideal. anything below 220°f is fine. Heres the perminiant fix: 8 an hose and 1 2” tube adapter fittings, using the factory hard line connectors at the trans and cooler. would have liked to eliminate the alumnnum or zinc tubing (whatever it is). but could not find the proper connectors. tried to eliminate the stupid quick connect fitting at the cooler.
