Accutire Pressure Gauge Lifetime Warranty Low Battery L I took the gauge apart to replace the cr2032 battery. here are some pictures. i put it all back together but now it will only display 01.0, no matter what the pressure is. it looks like i will be buying another gauge. they have a weird way of mounting and connecting the led display. the black strip, just above the display, in the first picture. Remove the screw and pull out the tail piece. remove the button cells. using your thumb and forefinger. replace with new a76 or lr 44 batteries, noting the proper orientation or polarity. the plastic housing is marked with the appropriate and – polarity that corresponds to the position of the coin cells.

Nov 12, 2018. #1. i have an old accutire pressure gauge. it uses two sets of batteries one 3v lithum coin cell internal not meant to be replaced and two replaceable button cells which provide backlighting. recently, the 3v lithium battery finally died out (displays a "l" in the lcd window). 08 23 2011, 02:34 am. re: accutire battery change caution. there is only one solution and that is to apply 3v to it with the old battery in it remove old battery with 3v still applied then insert new battery remove 3v supply re assemble. to late for any one else that has already removed old battery. my pc.
